V. Kavelmaher was born in Moscow on January 22, 1933. In 1937 he was sent with his mother in a reference to Vorkuta, where he lived until the beginning of 1950.

Back in Moscow, Vladimir Kavelmaher graduated Architectural Institute. In the late fifties, he worked belokamenschikom, and since the beginning of the sixties - the architect-restorer.
